Gessi Ventaglio Brassware
Gessi once again, through shapes and signs, brings new elements and solutions to the bathroom environment. Previewed at the Salone del Mobile 2023, the new Ventaglio collection is characterized, by fan like shapes with oriental references. The collection was developed in collaboration with the Filipino architect and interior decorator Michael Vincent Uy.
Elements with progressive opening, which fully recall the shape and language of the fan itself, offer an original result in the bathroom furnishing context. Known for centuries in China as a symbol of prestige and in eighteenth-century European courts as a means of ciphered language, the fan is today reinterpreted, bringing it’s timeless charm into the home.
The fan becomes the expression of a refined design, with almost aerodynamic shaped shapes, in a game of contrast between soft surfaces and slender features, in a continuous change enhanced by the reflections of light and shadows. Recalling its movement, through lines that progressively open up, the overlapping shapes underline an unparalleled chiaroscuro effect.
The collection, available in all the brand’s finishes, seeks harmony in simplicity and invites the contemplation of objects with their fixed and interior life.
